Starting right when a tattoo is finished it is very important to take care of your tattoo properly. This will keep you healthy and ensure that your design holds up.

At Panumart Tattoo we make the aftercare process very easy.

In our shops we utilize "second skin" technology, to protect  your tattoo. This special plastic wrap is used to protect and help heal your new ink in the days following your tattoo. Second skins are

This medical grade plastic wrap protects your new tattoo from clothes rubbing against it. The second skin also provides a WATERPROOF, ANTIBACTERIAL-BARRIER that stops pathogens and external contaminants from entering the wound. It is BREATHABLE, allowing oxygen to enter and allowing excess moisture to be released from the wound. It’s light to wear, FLEXIBLE and stretchable which allows it to be placed anywhere on the body and stay on,up to several days.

In our shop we will apply the second skin upon completion of your tattoo. Plus we will provide you with extra sheets of the wrap at no extra cost, so that you can protect your tattoo in the days to follow.

Here's what you have to do after leaving the shop:

Step 1

Your initial wrap will stay on somewhere from 24 to 48 hours preferably. You'll want to take it off if the plastic has peeled away off your skin too much or if a lot of excess fluids have built up under the wrap.

Step 2

Each subsequent wrap will ideally stay on your skin for 48 hours at a time. You will continue wearing your second skin for 3-6 days depending on your tattoo (we will advise you in shop).

Step 3

As previously said, you will stop using the second skin after a maximum of 6 days. But in total your skin may take up to a month to fully be "back."

After you stop using your second skin, we ask you to periodically apply non-scented moisturizer to your skin when it appears dry. Make sure not to put too much on.
